I gave a service "Rating of 10" because I am very satisfied with not only this particular service visit, during this quarter, but all other service visits that are performed each quarter. Martin McGuane, Terminix Service Technician is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He is always willing and ready to answer any questions that I may have regarding any aspect of the services being provided. Martin takes his job very seriously. He cares and ensures that the services he provides are of the utmost importance and are satisfactory to the customer. I have been a customer with Terminix for several years now. The services by Terminix are being performed not only as a maintenance each quarter, but also as a preventative measure as well. And I can be assured that my interests and investments in my home are well taken care of from the services that have been performed by Martins McGuane's skills and expertise. Thank You Martin!

I don’t normally write reviews, let alone bad ones, but they deserve less than one star. They are a predatory company, taking advantage of homeowners. My dog got really super sick a few days after they sprayed - called to cancel and they told me it is not possible due to the bundle that I purchased unless I pay the rest of the term. So now I’m stuck with a $1200 vet bill and a $700 cancellation fee? And all they had to say to themselves was “well you signed the contract”. I also signed something saying that it was safe for pets yet here we are. Let’s not even get into the scare tactics the salesperson used to get me to get the termite service… there are no termites in NY. My mistake there but still, he knew that as an “expert”. Avoid at all costs if you can - they are horrible.

Shady as hell. Had a kid come out to provide treatment and unbeknownst to us and without explaining himself put us into a year long contract. I called and demanded refund, but was told they need to perform an ethics investigation before they’ll considering refunding my money. The initial inspection showed OLD termite activity and yet they recommended treatment, which was then required by the lender we are refinancing with. When we got treatment they took advantage. Don’t trust these clowns. Just don’t even call them.

We have been Terminex customers for many years. Our technician Jeff always makes sure we are ok during our regular visits. Last year we had a horrible rodent problem that he treated. Since then the problem has been solved. We also added termite protection as well. During his last visit he recommended adding more insulation to protect against ice dams and heat loss which we plan on doing soon. Jeff is personable, respectful of our property and very knowledgeable about pest control. Highly recommend!

We have had a great experience with Terminex, thanks to Martin McGuane. He did a very thorough job around the exterior of our house – inspecting, removing spiderwebs, and spraying where necessary. He explained everything to me, including how to keep the family and pets safe, especially around those areas.

Buyer Beware! If you're looking to be mislead, scammed on service, overcharged, manipulated, etc...Terminix is your company! If you have mice, do not fall for the exclusion service! The free in home inspection is a sales representative who will use every sales technique in the book. Do not fall for it! You can complete the exclusion service on your own...you will save yourself money, time and a headache! Get the insulating foam and use it under vinyl siding, cracks around doors/windows, chimneys, and the foundation of your home. Buy your own mouse traps, sticky pads and bait as you will pay a fortune for them to bring the same things. The customer service representatives have no idea what's going on, you will be told something different each time you call. To get you off the phone, they promise that management will reach out via phone. You will not hear from management. I should have canceled sooner. Please do not fall for the scam like I did.
