Ensuring a Pest-Free Haven

It all starts with a $50 off promotional hook for pest control, reeling you in with a starter price of $99. The coverage spans a rogue's gallery of pests including cockroaches, mice, and a slew of insects. For a one-and-done service, homeowners can expect to fork out $250-$275, but for those who prefer the reassurance of ongoing protection, quarterly plans range from $40-$60 per month after an initial visit fee of $99-$120.

The Premium Plan is the cream of the crop, merging termite and pest control for an average savings of $175. And for states with drywood termite troubles, the Drywood Defend System™ zeroes in on this elusive pest. Costs vary based on the home inspection, with a ballpark figure of $70 a month for the basic plan.

Mosquito-Free Summers

Chasing away mosquitoes doesn't have to be a summer pastime. Terminix offers $50 off their Quick Guard Mosquito Service, with a one-time treatment setting you back $150. Mary Bates

    Lowell, OR

My overall experience with this company has been extremely poor. I was hoping we could come to some sort of resolution in the end but unfortunately, that didn't seem to be in the cards. I do find that I have a responsibility to my community to share the truth of these circumstances in hopes it doesn't happen to somebody else because it's been hell. Upon contacting Terminix initially for a quote to eliminate a water bug issue at my house, I was quoted $180. When the inspector arrived, he charged me $254 + a $55 monthly charge. I paid this and was just desperate to fix the issue. A technician was due to treat my house the next week. He showed up and let me know he would not be doing any work inside the house (after the inspector had said otherwise as this is where the problem resides). He was at my house for a total of 7 minutes. The next 3 appointments were not scheduled with me and the technician did not notify me of them until the night before. I wasn't able to be home for 2 of them. One of the appointments, I got a text he was on his way. I kept watch out my window. I went into the living room for a total of five minutes. When I got back to my room, I had a text saying the service was complete. The technician had essentially said I was not at home and there was no roach activity. I don't believe he showed up and there was never a knock at the door or a doorbell ring. I gave Terminix several chances to rectify the situation in lieu of somebody coming back out to treat the house. I was unable to get ahold of anybody. Nobody answered the phone calls, I didn't get an email back for about a week, and the customer service chat was unproductive. When I was finally able to get somebody to contact me, the operations manager, Curry called me. I was not able to get back to him for a few days but I did call back. He acknowledged that, after looking over the records and work orders, everything I alleged was true. He apologized and offered to refund me the $254 for the service since their end of the contract was not fulfilled. He said he would get the paperwork going and to bear with him. I said no problem and thanked him. Tomorrow will be two weeks since this conversation took place. I have yet to receive an update. I messaged him twice last week because Terminix is actively attempting to charge me the weekly due for service I didn't receive. They've tried to charge my account five times now. He left me on read and completely ignored me. I reached out via customer service. I was able to reach a company representative who said the refund request was never filed and there was no note made of it on file. They said they'd expedite my request and somebody would get back to me asap. This was three days ago. I will be disputing through my bank. My opinion is this company lacks the ability to take accountability and they lack integrity. In good faith, I cannot recommend this company to anybody. On the contrary, I actually will be voicing to every person I possibly can to avoid it like the plague. The representatives, manager, and service techs are all equally unreliable to the boot. I spent $27 for gel poison. Just do it yourself and save the hassle. Hopefully they can take this instance and learn from it so their business doesn't fall apart or get audited. Speaking of being audited, it's no wonder the ex CEO of Terminix is the current CEO of Servpro. Birds of a feather and all that. 😬 Edit: as of today, Terminix is still trying to charge me a monthly fee of a service I did not receive. It's just bs conjecture at this point. I canceled the card, so obviously they will be getting no more money from me but we have to admit it is a little comical.

Our tech Rebecca always seems to do a great job. She does the spraying around all of our buildings, checks and replaces bait if needed in our bait station, inspects all of our outdoor outlets where wasps like to hide and is always looking for any other bugs that don't belong! She will also leave us sticky pads if we need them for our shop. She's very thorough and good at her job.

Super frustrated with this company. First, I was quoted $180. They then charged me $254 at the inspection visit. I paid it because I was desperate to get rid of an bug infestation I have. They told me the charge would cover treating for rodents and 20 or so species of bugs. So the guy came out and sprayed the windows and doors but there was no treatment for rodents as they said. Two weeks later, I still have the same exact issues. It didn't fix anything. When the tech showed up, it was clear there was no communication from the initial visit. After he sprayed, I got a text the night before an alleged appointment saying they're reminding me of my follow up appointment. I did not set an appointment. I asked what I would he charged and the tech didn't have that information to give me. Never heard back about it. We had to cancel because we had appointments and asked to reschedule. All he said was yes. Then I get an automated message today saying a tech is on the way to an appointment that was never made!!! In my opinion, there are better companies based on this lack of professionalism and communication alone.

We came to an amicable solution. Im still not excited over the service but at least acknowledging that they in-fact corrected the issue. Added a star because of the correction.

We've had a Terminex contract at this house for over 12 years. Our technician, Joshua, is the best. He's on time and keeps us updated on his expectated arrival time on the day of service. He's professional and fast. Our contract is billed quarterly so I really don't have a price paid for this visit, I'm just estimating.

Original 11/12/25 I received a notification that a tech was coming to perform a service for my home when they had no appointment set with me. I immediately called Terminix and canceled that service, which I had not approved, and scheduled a new time for the service to be performed. In spite of Terminix contacting the tech and telling them not to come, the tech showed up to my property while I was unavailable. I tried calling the provided number for the tech without an answer. The tech spent less than 7 minutes on my property (I have it on my door cam) from the time they pulled into my driveway to the time they drove out. Terminix then charged me for this service that I had canceled and clearly stated I did not want. When I contacted customer service and canceled my account over this issue and poor service from this tech from multiple previous appointments, they said that they would issue a refund. However, it never came, and now months later they are saying that, since chemicals were used on my property, they will not issue a refund after all, despite previous promises. Update 11/20/25: In spite of being told on 11/12/25 when I re-filed my refund request that I would hear back from them in 24-48 hours, I still have not been contacted back. So, essentially, this company is supporting their employees in trespassing on client property and charging them for it. A complaint to the Better Business Bureau has been filed. Update 12/5/25: Terminix responded to the BBB complaint saying that they had initiated the refund on 11/20/25. In spite of this, I got my money back not through refund, but by having disputed the charge with my bank.
