I deal with severe medical conditions, including a life-threatening level 13 cockroach allergy and Addison’s disease (primary adrenal insufficiency). Because of these health issues, a pest infestation in my home isn't just an inconvenience—it has literally put me in the hospital, leading to nearly $90,000 in medical bills since April. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I hired Terminex to help with a serious roach problem, and after four service visits, the problem is exactly the same. The first technician was polite, but he only sprayed part of the house and left. The second technician did a little more, but still didn't treat the entire house. He repeatedly assured us that he cared and wanted to help, but also said he couldn't do everything he was supposed to because he had other clients to get to. He told us to call back in two weeks, specifically request him, and recommend him so he could do everything in his power to solve the issue. Two weeks later, the roach problem was unchanged. I called, recommended him as requested, and scheduled another appointment. The next day, he messaged me saying he wasn't coming because he was in Albuquerque which made no sense since the company travels from Albuquerque in the first place. For the third visit, the first technician returned. My husband showed him exactly where the infestation was worst and explained where treatment was needed, but once again only part of the house was sprayed. He did the bare minimum and left without saying anything. I called for a fourth visit because the problem was STILL the same. The second technician came back and finally sprayed the entire house, but that was all he did. No bait stations, no additional treatment methods, and none of the things the company advertises as part of their service. Throughout the visit, he kept repeating that he cared and wanted to help us, but then said he could only stay a few minutes because he had other clients. What about the clients who have already paid for a service that isn't working? I've spent a lot of money and time dealing with this, and after four visits, I have the exact same roach problem I started with. The technicians were polite, but politeness doesn't solve infestations. Results do. At this point, I feel like I paid a lot of money for little to no effective service, and I would honestly appreciate a refund.

Beg bug activity has gone up all over and like many, we got hit with them October of last year. We were trying to find a place that did heat treatments and Terminex came up as one that did them. We asked them to come out. They in fact do not do any kind of heat treatments here (I feel like that is false advertising on their part with everything falling under the generic website) and we were told that there was no way to heat a whole room. *There definitely is and we found it!* If you are interested in paying less for heater, fans, cords, and training videos AND you own then equipment, look into Convectex Bed Bug Heat Packages. We paid Terminex $3000 for their 3 month warranty service for our home and they did get the job done eventually but I wish they had been more forward with some information up front and we had a few issues with appointments being miscommunicated. It took from the end of October till the end of Jan to be clear of the bed bugs. We made the mistake of moving a suitcase from that bedroom to the garage thinking the garment steamer I had would be enough to kill anything on it before I moved it. That's my bad. Leave everything where it is! Well, typically the bugs live 92% of their lives waiting in the same spot they had their last meal but we brought that to the garage after disturbing the nest and then one of the kids practiced their tuba out there months later and that must of got them moving. We brought some tables and chairs into the house a couple of weeks ago from the garage for a party and started having my tell tale reactions shortly after that. I had found the Convectex heat systems shortly after paying Terminex an arm the first time. This time I went with the Convectex and wish I just did it to begin with. I paid $2700 for their biggest DIY home kit because we have an open concept floor plan. I got it in 2 days and they make you sign for it so it won't walk off. I was going to get the next size up that was professional grade and quite a bit more but I was told I didn't need to dobthat and told me how to wall a section off and to save my money. They were very helpful on the phone! The videos were very informative and I am able to treat for them myself if we have anymore pop up with 2 kids about to head to college! It's helped my anxiety so much! Terminex did get the problem sorted the first time and the next one was on me. However, with the Convectex, you leave most of the stuff in the room, have to bag very little and as long as you follow the instructions on airflow and trapping heat from escaping (which they have videos on), you will be set and done way faster than with the chemical route. You spend less and own the equipment instead of a 3 month warranty period. Just want to share it for anyone else in the nightmare that is bedbugs. Anyone can get them, no matter how clean you are! Don't use chemicals from the store either, you will just make them harder to treat for! Thankfully I knew that but not everyone does. Best of luck out there.

I have been using Terminix for over a year now. I called them when I had concerns about termite activity in a wood pergola that was installed in 2006. Terminix came to our house, did an inspection, and indeed found termite activity in the pergola. I removed the pergola and had Terminix install termite traps around the parameter of our house and also started using them for pest control. I have been very pleased with the service I received from the company. Terminix pricing is $$$ but for me it is worth the price, haven't see a bug since I have been using them.
