Jesse Renteria did the initial service, then had to come back. Both time he was the most professional individual at Quell services. I am very much a detail oriented individual, Jesse listened to all my concerns. My appointment was between 1-5 pm, but Jesse texted me to say he can come sooner if I want. Title: Misrepresentation, attic damage concerns, and attempted rodent upsell — very troubling experience I am sharing this so other homeowners, especially seniors, understand what occurred in our case. On Feb 19, a Terminix representative came to our home stating she was performing our annual termite inspection. I later learned from Terminix escalation staff that she was actually a sales representative, not a termite inspector, which was never disclosed during the visit. During the attic portion of the visit, she claimed we had a rodent infestation and recommended approximately $2,100 in rodent treatment. She pointed to droppings and a hole in an AC duct as evidence. However, what we observed afterward raised serious concern: • The AC duct she referenced is located immediately at the furthest point one can easily reach upon entering the attic • Multiple other ducts exist throughout the attic, but this was the only one with a hole • The opening was approximately 6 inches long and located exactly at the accessible entry area • A concentrated pile of droppings was present at that same duct location • Only a few scattered droppings appeared slightly left and right of that area • No droppings were observed in the remainder of the attic We declined services immediately and did not authorize any work. Despite this, a rodent service invoice was later issued. After the visit, a large ceiling crack (approximately 5 ft) was discovered that did not exist prior to the inspection. When contacting Terminix: • Callbacks were delayed • A manager initially stated he had no knowledge of prior conversations • Damage concerns were characterized as accusations • Focus shifted toward scheduling additional inspection rather than addressing damage It is especially concerning that this sales attempt involved an elderly homeowner and claims of infestation that were not supported by widespread attic evidence. During my research, I also found other homeowners describing similar experiences involving: • Attic inspections followed by rodent infestation claims • Duct or attic damage cited as justification • High-cost rodent exclusion recommendations This pattern raises serious concerns about inspection transparency and damage attribution practices. We have requested: • Documentation of the Feb 19 visit • Assessment of the ceiling damage discovered after the inspection • Resolution before any further service entry Homeowners should confirm whether a Terminix visit is an inspection or a sales evaluation before allowing attic access. We are still seeking resolution regarding misrepresentation and damage concerns.

Joe was excellent. He installed our Sentricon bait stations today. Joe was very polite, he introduced himself, and was very careful in our landscape yard. He did a walk-through after he installed all of the bait stations and showed me all of their locations. He had a few extra bait stations after going around the house, so he put the extras around our wood frame shed. We appreciate that Joe was very thorough and took pride in his work. He also showed me that he took photos of everything. Joe definitely provided us with five-star service!!!

It's funny (not really) that you had such an experience with Terminix. I also am having an issue with them. I have been a customer of there's for over ten years. Dry wood, subterranean, and quarterly services. Each year I have a huge dry wood termite problem and they always come out spot treat and tell us to keep the lights out in these areas! So we walk around in the dark for 2 months, still having the problem though. Now is that some dumb shit!!! Well, This year my wife and I have it. I've tried to get the termite manager to call me but have had little success. Well you see that you have to call a 1 800 number because they don't want to give out local numbers. so you call the 1800 # and they are very nice and try to help you, but they put you on hold and try to reach your branch but they can't even get through to them. So it's little wonder why you as a customer can't seem to get any help. Still waiting.
