Treated house and property for termites.
I received two estimates. The first company representative was purely a salesman who missed several important things when he inspected my house, created a diagram, and gave me a price. His price was $833.00. Then I had a Terminix representative come to my house. I immediately saw a tremendous difference in professionalism and knowledge. He knew what he was talking about and included two very important items that the first guy totally missed. That was five large pillars which help support the roof and two structures which have wood post in contact with the ground and my roof. He also covered things to do inside the house which were not covered by the first rep. However, when he gave me his price of $1500.00 I wasn't sure what to do. I spent two days reading everything both men left me. I called the first guy and told him about the items he missed. He said he would come out and redo the diagram. He came out and basically when he was done I was totally disgusted with how he was handling everything. Bottom line is that I did not trust him because he did not amend certain things in his contract and just told me that he would make sure the guy who was going to do the work would know what he was suppose to do. The Terminix diagram showed about twice as many drill holes as the other company which means better coverage which means more chemical and labor thus it should cost more. Ok, here is what is important. Omar, the terminix guy was the man who came to my house to inspect it and give me an estimate, and most important is that he was also the man who did the work. No double talking middle man. I was very pleased with everything he did and was surprised at how much work is really involved. I believe in the old saying that you get what you pay for. If you call Terminix ask for Omar. He is the one who did my work so he is the one I am recommending.

I paid over $400 to have my house sprayed, serviced and everything for the termites, and a little over $100 to clear the ant problem. I have coffee every morning with a lot of people, and they tell me that every time they have a termite inspector, they find termites. But nobody else around me has termites, so I don’t know whether I actually had termites under there or not. They were professional, and they even set me up so that they could come around once a month and spray. That cost $40. I had about four months of that, then one of my friends offered to spray my house for nothing, so I dropped them. I have no proof, but I don’t trust those companies any longer, I really don’t.

They are great. Their people are very knowledgeable. They really do know what they are talking about and I am very happy with them. Their prices are fair.

We decided to use them because of their national brand name. They just come in treat for ants and termites. We don’t seem to have as much as trouble with the insects after they got through. They were expensive for the initial treatment; it was around $1500. They had to go under the foundation and treat for termites but every month it is $36 for them to spray the entire yard. They are professional. They call before they come out every month. They do a very good job. They let me know if I have any problems that seem to be cropping up like ants. They treat anything individually if it appears to be a problem. They let me know if the neighbors have any problems that are creeping over into my yards.

They've did a good job for us, are responsive, and have a reasonable price. The reason I went with them is they are National. I joke and say Yuma doesn't mean Indian, it means termite. I don't know why people build their houses out of wood, here. Quality is one of their best traits. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.
