We used them for over 20 years until repeated missed appointments led us to cancel our pest control in 2020 and our termite service this year. We've had termite damage issues ongoing for at least three years and they just keep sending a worker out with a spray can to spot treat. They are now sending collections warnings to my 91 year old mother because we didn't continue with them. Your time means nothing to them and apparently they are bullies too. AVOID!!!!

I signed up with Terminix for a rat problem in our attic. It took two weeks before I even had traps set up in the attic. I asked repeatedly about sealing up a hole that was in our air controller for outside air conditioner that led right up to the attic, I was told they were going to cover it, but they never did. I’ve been told the poison that they use in the boxes is dangerous to dogs and cats and wildlife. We definitely didn’t feel like we hired the right Company and I called to cancel and I was told a supervisor was going to call me, but I never heard from him. I was given A number to another supervisor, who was going to decide if I was going to be able to get any of my $1700 back but he never returned my call. I went with Phoenix pest control and those guys were great! They came out right away, dug a trench all the way along the back of my house, sealed up access areas that Terminix missed. It’s been about 6 weeks and no more scratching sounds in my attic. I texted my rep at Terminix to please pick up their rat boxes a couple times and the boxes are still sitting on the side of my house.

Do yourself a favor and use another company or at least get a second opinion from other companies. Terminix was the worst choice we could have made as new homeowners. Our technician has been very nice, but everything else has been horrible. Despite documenting signs of activity, making follow up appointments continuously… we are STILL having the same issue we’ve had for the last 14 months with zero resolution and we spent over 8k. Like I said above - find another company/get a second opinion unless you consistently and constantly want to be frustrated.
