Orkin stands out with its proven A.I.M.® strategy and a commitment to keeping your dwelling a pest-free sanctuary. With comprehensive plans tailored to repel a variety of pests, Orkin presents a formidable line of defense against these unwelcome visitors. Here's an insightful look into how Orkin's services and pricing align with the needs of homeowners in Tennessee.
Comprehensive Pest Protection with Orkin's A.I.M.® Approach
Orkin's time-tested A.I.M.® strategy revolves around a trifecta of steps: Assess, Implement, and Monitor. This dynamic cycle ensures your home in Tennessee remains fortified against pests. Orkin professionals meticulously evaluate the specific conditions of your property, deploy the most efficient control tactics, and remain vigilant through continuous monitoring. This strategic process is not just about confrontation with pests; it's a proactive and preventative measure, consistently adapted to your home's unique situation.
Tailored Pest Prevention Plan
Orkin's promise to Tennessee homeowners includes a shield against the 13 most prevalent pests. The plan involves bi-monthly or as-needed visits to break pest lifecycles, alongside expert advice and home fortifications, such as sealing gaps and cracks. Detailed service reports and a no-nonsense 100% money-back guarantee add layers of reassurance, demonstrating Orkin's confidence in its service.
Clarity in Pricing
Orkin values transparency, with service costs influenced by multiple factors like home size and infestation level. For instance, a typical 2-bedroom home in Hermitage, TN, may see a monthly cost of $51.50, with a one-off initial fee of $212.50. Orkin's unwavering commitment to affordability is further highlighted by promotional offers, such as a $50 discount, making professional pest control accessible to more Tennessee households.
Contracts Crafted for Convenience
An annual agreement with Orkin doesn't bind you indefinitely. The flexibility to cancel services coupled with a money-back guarantee underlines Orkin's client-first philosophy. Upon agreeing to a plan, you'll be provided with a service agreement that outlines the tailored treatment program for your residence.
Terrible Buisness! We setup a Termite monitoring plan. After installation the technicians always made excuses why they couldn't check the stations. They will tell you they are taking care of the situation and never fallow through or reach back out. I reported the issue to the BBB and they responded stating they would issue a refund in November 2025. At this time I still have not received a refund. The manager Ethan has lied to us on every phone call saying he will get things resolved and giving excuses. If you decide to go with this branch make sure you have surveillance of property and a lawyer.

Was dealing with roaches for 12 years. Had 3 separate companies treat my house with no results. Tried home remedies but with no luck. Gave up on everything. My wife called Orkin. Jessy came out for the inspection and found the source as soon as he checked the attic. They came out today (1-28-26) to replace the soiled insulation in my attic plus they replaced the old plastic in my crawlspace. Coming out tomorrow (1-29-26) to spray in my crawlspace for wood rot and replace my crawlspace door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Orkin. This company is lucky to have Jessy.

The two young men, Ben and Leslie, who came to my house to inspect, were as polite and professional as a person could ask for. If that was what you pay for they've got the market cornered. I realize the service they provide is crucial and preventative, but all the charm in the world can't help a Senior couple on SSI afford what is simply out of their reach. They tried. Boy, they tried. Ben ended up with a contract treating the house inside for creepy crawlys bimonthly, but before it's over we're going to have to get termite treatment too. We just can't afford what Orkin wants for it.
Update: 4/21/2025 Our scheduled Orkin appointment was due today. We have been experiencing absolutely "NO" cockroaches. There is the occasional black rice (mouse poop) under the counter where our crackers and chips go, but we keep all that stuff in a very large metal mixing bowl with a round bottom. A mouse can smell it, but can't climb in it. So far that's worked. The only problem we've had inside has been black ants.
Outside we have experienced a plethora of wasps and Carpenter Bees. I made some hornet nests out of paper bags and that's helped with the wasps. We have two bee traps that we empty every other day and they catch 10-15 bees a week. Gracy and I daily fight them with our swatting rackets and have gotten pretty good at killing them. They don't seem deterred by the hornet's nests, but the wasps are. At any rate, our regular guy didn't come today. They sent someone different to service our house and he really did an extra heavy treatment on the house. He set traps out inside for the ants and then placed some sort of sand type substance outside for them to take back to there queen. Then as we were sitting here waiting for him to leave we heard a motor start running. I looked out and he was treating our porch for bees and wasps. This guy was going over the top. I never did catch his name, but all I can say the staff at Orkin goes out of their way to make the home owner feel safe and satisfied. Money well spent. I'm changing my review to a 4 star. If a find they didn't jack up my bill in the process, I'll bump it on up to a "5".
Update June 10, 2025 the wasps on the porch have gone somewhere else. Last year they were EVERYWHERE!!! This year we might see one or two a day. That's WAY do-able! I'm not sure if my papers bag hornet nests had anything to do with detering them or the spray the guy sprayed out on the porch but the price didn't go up...and that's what counts. Yeah ORKIN!!!
UPDATE: 11/09/2025 All of the sudden we have Waterbugs! Not just one or two, but a blue million water bugs. Like we're the guest of honor at the annual "Waterbug Thanksgiving" dinner. Now Ben, our regular guy, keeps our place sprayed and pretty well pest free so they had to have come in in some groceries that we brought in. The tiniest ones can be parents in a mater of a week. I was washing a bag of sweet potatoes when I noticed them. I dumped them in the sink and those basturds scattered like broken glass from a windshield. I started swatting and smashing and got as many as I could catch, but you can't catch'em all. For the next few days every time I turned the lights on in the kitchen you could see them run from me. We had already put food away from this trip, so we went back and gathered it all up. Any paper packages were tossed. Cans had labels peeled and replaced with SHARPEE writing. Under sink counters were cleaned and DRIED! Then we called Orkin. Thein response totally shocked me. It was between servicing, but it was no one's fault and they said "we're not happy if you're not happy."
They sent a young woman named Amanda out who not only treated our kitchen and both bathrooms, but she educated us a little about the ways and lifestyle of roaches and Waterbury. This gal knows her stuff. Not only is ORKIN lucky to have her and Ben...you would be lucky to have folks like the ORKIN team on your side in a time like this. Thanksgiving is supposed to be at my house this year and I feel relatively safe the relatives will be the only guests there.

Jessy came in to do our inspection for termites. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional. He was very thorough, inspecting both our attic and crawlspace. He discovered a concerning issue with mold in our crawl space. He advised us to encapsulate our crawl space and gave us several options. He took the time to explain the benefits of each option. He wasn't pushy when we explained that we needed time to talk about our options and how we were going to finance the project. 5 stars to Orkin for having such a great employee.

We’ve been extremely happy with our Orkin service, especially thanks to Dakota, who sprays the inside of our home and outside for mosquitoes. It’s clear he takes pride in his job and truly cares about his customers. We appreciate his consistency and the peace of mind he gives us knowing our home is well-protected. Thank you, Dakota, for always doing such a great job!

As a new customer to their work, I was pleasantly surprised with the young men that called at my house. They were both very courteous and very professional. They conducted their business quickly and efficiently and explained exactly what they were doing.. They also informed me of what to expect and how to communicate with them regarding the results.
