I had some bad experiences with Orkin in my area last year due to one bad manager. No more, the office manager, Kathy, Is absolutely wonderful and goes the extra mile. Never had an issue with a technicians. They are prompt and very thorough. We had them treat for Asian beetles and stink bugs and have not seen a single one alive since they did their treatment. We also have mosquito and tick spray and it is very noticeable, especially with mosquitoes. We can actually enjoy the night and not end up covered in scratchy bumps. Keep on doing a great job guys!

Absolutely the worst customer service!! I paid the $3,900.00 for the house to be sealed 3 months ago, and they still haven't finished the job. Also, I got a new mouse in my house and wasps getting into the bedroom! I'm going to look to change my pest control service when this stupid contract is done!

Service was great, There was a little confusion at first as to what service the tech was here for. If you call the call center make sure you are very specific. General pest control and Mosquito pest control are 2 different services. Matt our technician got everything figured out for us and was very friendly and knowledgeable in what he does. Would recommend this service to others.

I’ve never left a negative review before, but this experience has been the worst I’ve ever had with a company and people should be aware. Nearly every step of the way there was an issue. The work they told me was essential to seal the home, and nearly doubled the cost of the work, was not done and management told me it was never on the work order, and that coincidentally the sales rep no longer works there so there is no way to prove we ever discussed it. The work itself was done extremely quickly, lazily, and below a professional standard. I needed them to come back 4 times to fix the last persons work. After expressing my dissatisfaction I was told multiple times that someone would call me back the following day or week to schedule someone to come out to work on the home, and time and time again they wouldn’t call to schedule it, and again I would have to call them back to make it happen. The management continued to place the blame on me, or the sales rep that was no longer there. When I did have a chance to speak to a regional manager who oversaw this branch I was quite frankly yelled at by them, and again told that it was my issue not theirs. As someone else mentioned, the contractors who showed up to do the work continually expresses their frustration with the management. Long story short, avoid this Orkin branch, perhaps other ones in the area will be better, but this one is an organizational and managerial mess. If you do choose to work with Orkin, beware that Orkin uses generic terms like “Orkin Seal” on the work orders and refuses to break down what that include - looking back it is clearly a predatory business tactic to absolve themselves of responsibility.

I should’ve went with my gut instinct and listened to everyone’s advice that told me not to sign up with Orkin because it’s a total scam. I purchased my first house. I signed up for the Orkin seasonal mosquito package That seemed like a good deal at the time. The tech Travis came out it was a very bad experience they replaced him with Mark. Then suddenly an account manager Benjamin Staley just randomly appeared at my house one day and started selling me on services that I didn’t realize I needed. He sold me on exterior seal, attic seal, updated attic hatch and termite bait. Total: $6575.15 . October 31 - November 3rd local branch manager, Anthony Rodriguez came out to oversee the projects. Very charming individual with great customer service skills. After the exterior seal, attic seal, termite bait and attic hatch completed, it seemed they forgot about me. Almost like they took the money and ran. Branch manager, Anthony Rodriguez was supposed to come out at some point after the Services were completed to do his “quality check”. He never came out. His excuse, his boss kept scheduling surprise meetings that he was mandated to attend. So Anthony and I had been going back-and-forth a few times to reschedule for him to come out and each one of those times, He was always a no-show with the same excuse, so I gave up. I decided not to call him back to reschedule. Fast Foward to December 31st, I was suppose to have my seasonal tech visit, no show. Called customer service and they connected me to Kathy from the local branch and she tells me that my services was canceled. Mind you I never told the customer service rep I wanted to cancel. So I took it as a sign and decided to stay canceled Because I have been so disappointed with their services . In conclusion, $6575.15 out the window because I still have a mice problem. So clearly, Orkin did not completely seal my exterior. There must still be an opening somewhere where they are getting in. I have trapped five mice and I still hear more in my walls at night. So since Orkin can’t get the job done, I’m gonna go ahead and do it myself. I’m giving Orkin two stars because of their great customer service skills but their services is garbage.
