We made an appt for 10am-12pm today and no one showed. My mom called for an update when she saw they were late and said theyd be there in half an hour. No show. She called again and the lady had to keep calling the driver for an ETA and it kept getting pushed back another hour, another hour and a half. My mom spoke to the lady FIVE times and they never showed. Instead of rescheduling we told them to cancel the whole thing and that we’d write a negative review, so here it is! Do NOT schedule with this incompetent company

I had 2 appointments where they did not show. I received a text for one at 2:39pm when my appointment was for 4:00.. the text said they are way, I’m the next stop. Again at 2:39 I received a text saying they are here. My son and I looked outside no one was there. I tried responding to text but it says replies are not monitored and to call local office, which I did several times. Twice I had actual person who said the note about my appointment says the customer unaware of the appointment so they cancelled???. The next appointment was no show and no text. There is name attached to my text but I don’t feel right leaving the name here. I’ve called so many times leaving messages to no avail. So disappointed since they were referred and we have a wasp nest that’s bringing wasps into our home!! Terrible service.

I called orkin yesterday afternoon at 12pm. They told me an orkin professional will be at my residence between the hours of 2-4pm. I called back at 4:15pm and they said they're experiencing delays in their system. I called them back again at 6pm and they said "he should be coming shortly, we tried calling him but he didnt answer, which likely means he's already on his way to you since we have a no-phone policy which prevents us from talking and driving." It's now 6:20am the following morning and I haven't heard a peep from them since 6pm yesterday evening. For a place thats been in business over 120 years this is unacceptable.

If I can give Orkin a 0 star review I would they will schedule an appt and then not show up. It has happened to me 4 times!! They just say there was a scheduling error or there was a delay. Please take your business someplace else they are all unprofessional!

Had a great experience with Orkin regarding removing a hornet nest. I had someone come out the same day to assess the situation and had an estimate by the end of the day. I was able to schedule the service for within 48 hours. Unfortunately, the technician arrived nearly a half late and did not clearly communicate on how he would dispose of the dead nest, which I now have to deal with. Overall, I would recommend them, but make sure you get clear info on how they will approach the issue and anything you need to do.

Had a Great experience with Tom from Orkin. He searched the front yard and backyard to get rid of a paper wasp nest and spray a killer dust in a crawlspace in the ceiling when he found a deceased Yellow Jacket. He was very thorough and reassured us we would be safe once he was done. Fantastic Service!

Orkin cancelled my first service appointment at the last minute and wouldn't schedule time until much later in the week. Without checking with me the appointment was automatically cancelled, and moved from Monday to Thursday. Shouldn't there be more urgency, professionalism and care shown given the nature of the problem their business deals with? They came across as dismissive when I called up and expressed my disappointment on the phone. Seemed like no one wanted to take responsibility. I was told they will call me back to see if my appointment could be expedited, but I never heard back. When I pressed on this matter over the phone, they said they would give me a 50 dollar discount as a trade off for this issue. But I told them that their website already had a 75 dollar initial service discount for new users - which the they didn't seem to be aware of, until I highlighted. I am yet to get started with their service, but the initial interactions has already left me feeling quite concerned. Further update to my post from earlier in the week: You guys advertise as being available 24/7, but I've been trying to reach on your company helpline number since last evening to cancel my rescheduled appointment for today evening, but no one would bother answering the phone call! How's that a 24/7 service? I couldn't wait until Thursday to get the pest treatment started, kindly cancel it ASAP!

This company has shady practices. I cancelled my appointment and the exterminator still came. Told him that the appointment was cancelled. He said no worries you won’t be charged. Looked at my bank statement a few days later and there was a charge of $86. Called the company and they said it was a charge for an inspection. Told the agent appt was cancelled there was no inspection performed. The agent told me they will speak to a manger and call me back. Two days later haven’t heard back and they are not picking up my phone calls now. STAY AWAY! This is not a trust worthy company. -Mary
