The local Orkin Office is getting 1 star because even after years of repeated discussions, they cannot seem to get scheduling done correctly. I sat home again for 4 straight hours and, after 2 phone calls, finally got a resolution from a somewhat terse manager. HOWEVER - I’m giving the technician that came out today 5 stars as he was courteous, prompt (early!) and very kind! And he cannot be responsible for the actions of his leader.

I paid good money for my house to be serviced, and the technician that came out to service my termite baits realized I wasn't home, rang my doorbell, went back to his truck to write me an email letting me know my service was completed and left. I have cameras and he didn't go around checking the baits, but yet, I was told it was done. I must have went into the wrong business, getting to drive from house to house to do nothing and get paid for it!!

I was not home when the Orkin agent arrived but my adult cousin had instructions to let him in so that he could access the attic. I was told that the inspection would include the outside of my home and the attic. Later that evening I was surprised and upset that the Orkin representative had been in my bedroom and master bath - there was a glue trap behind my toilet. I did not give Orkin permission to go into the private areas of my home; nor did Orkin say that they needed access to private areas when I spoke to them making arrangements for an initial inspection. . If I had been home at the time, I would have denied him access. I arrived shortly after he arrived (maybe 15 minutes). He never even alluded to the fact that he had been in my bedroom/bathroom only that he had been in the attic and saw a minimal amount of droppings and no tunneling and was going to inspect the perimeter of my home. I am appalled and few violated by this invasion of my privacy. I will never use Orkin again.

We have had Orkin for over 18yrs. I would recommend them to everyone, they helped me with my Anxiety I have with the bugs and if you live in the south your bugs everywhere and they really have helped me kind of learn to live with it long is it there? I’m OK. every person they have come out and service our home they be end up being like your friend because you see them all the time in a very a professional, and they really care about your needs and they really helped me with my anxiety of bugs. Very pleased with service tech. Very knowledgeable and did his job efficiently. Very disappointed I'm sales rep/inspector. I feel I was severely oversold and under delivered. Especially hearing the tech call him and be told to make it happen. Even though the service being halfway done was the main reason I called orkin in the first place.
