Extremely happy with this company. Adam and Donald were very knowledgeable. We had an issue that needed addressed ASAP and I got a call for scheduling within an hour of calling out and scheduled first thing the next morning for a free inspection. They answered all questions thoroughly, explained things in a way that we could understand. We asked a question on the phone and Donald researched the answer and answered us first thing when he showed up in the morning. These guys had a friendly and happy attitude, the kind that makes you want to talk to them all day. They made a very stressful situation feel a little less harsh. Well done! Keep these guys around😉

I usually do not write reviews but I unfortunately have to. We have used Orkin for nearly 5 years with the previous owners of our home having used them for 10 years. We have been satisfied with our monthly service and mosquito/tick service all these years until last month. On March 20th, our service was performed and 2 days later many of our plants, trees and shrubs began dying. I took photos and sent them to the service technician but received no response. I called to speak with a manager more than once before being told he would look into it and get back with me. No response. Finally today, nearly 1 month later, I speak with the overall manager only to be told he could not do anything for me but to comp the next month’s service. My monkey grass died, Camelia is burned, day lilies burned and magnolia tree leaves burned. All at my expense to replace. This is horrific!!! I am shocked that a company this size and reputation does nothing to accommodate their customers. This is a travesty and I warn you to NOT USE ORKIN for your pest control. They will not honor their work! Edited Reviewin Response to Owner: Thank you for responding to my review. I spoke with your Manager Mike Sarr this morning who was unwilling to help at all. In fact, he said, “Humm, I’m scratching my head on this one. It doesn’t make sense.” Before I call this number, please provide your name. I had no idea Orkin was such a full-service company. We are so happy we called them out for a free inspection. Here’s why: i) We had critters in the walls - Orkin sealed up all possible access points around the home and put live traps out to capture critters alive. ii) We had an attic with 4 legged creature droppings - Orkin sealed up the work area, wore full hazmat gear and wore fresh booties anytime they walked through the home. They removed the contaminated contents including the soiled insulation, removed the contaminants (directly out a window), disinfected the area, vacuumed and re applied disinfectant and replaced the insulation with one that critters don’t like. iii) We had a crawlspace in need of swift attention. Orkin cleared and encapsulated the crawlspace, installed a dehumidifier and fed the condensation hose discreetly to the exterior. During the process they alerted us immediately of HVAC hosing that was contaminating the house and urged us to call an HVAC company immediately. They also discovered a loose joist when prepping our crawlspace. We would never have known about either. Finally, Orkin treated the house for Termites and carpenter ants and took photos of the issues to help us decide how best to proceed. Thanks to the folks at Chattanooga Orkin (Preston, Mike, Josh, Austin, Matt and Chris) our house is on its way to becoming a home. These folks worked tirelessly to complete all these jobs in just a few days (our place was an unusually challenging case). If we had to do it all over again, we would call the same folks and ask for them by name. Call Preston for your inspection, he was always prompt in responding to any of our questions!

Orkin did a good job on the termite treatment so I have then a chance on encapsulating the crawl space. Last year they did an inspection and were supposed to come and repair some things and they ghosted me! I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone and after giving up on them, I had someone actually come out and fix the problem. Please don't let these exterminators stray past their experience. Also the only way they guarantee things is if you maintain a yearly subscription.

We’ve been with Orkin for four months. There has been absolutely no change in the amount of pests in our home. We were trying to give them time but yeahhhh it’s a no for me. We trusted Orkin because of their name but, I’d much rather try a mom and pop company that actually care about building and keeping their reputation and clientele. At this point, I don’t know if they’re spraying sugar water or what. We will be canceling our membership because it’s a waste of time and money.
