“Craig Thomas pest control was called into my house after 3 bats appeared in our home the night before. The sales person that showed up (clearly not an expert in pest removal based on the experience) barely stuck his head up in my attic before coming down and attempting to hand me "guano". He then had the audacity to ask me if I had the financial authority in my house to sign paperwork to get started on what he estimated would be 7,000$ of insulation replacement since he claimed all my insulation was compromised and soiled by bat droppings. I asked the salesman multiple times if there were currently bats in my attic, or if the droppings were from an old issue (we had only moved into the house a month or two prior). He refused to answer the question. I ushered the man out of my house since I did not feel he was answering my questions and told him my husband and I would contact him if we were interested. Thank goodness we called other companies for second opinions. Turns out, after another company gave us a complete inspection (we're talking walking around in the attic, accessing every possible entrance and exit using ladders, etc) WE DON'T HAVE ANY BATS- no evidence of soiled insulation, not a single dropping! We were advised the salesperson could have even carried what he was calling "guano" into our house in his pocket and pulled it out when he was peaking his head into the attic. I would never trust this company based on my experience.”
