“My wife and I have used a couple of different pest places on Oak Island. This one was the worst. They were charging our rental management company to come out and spray our house multiple times but we're not actually showing up. We have a large white Great Dane that hangs outside and no one comes through the gate while he's barking and we're not home. The owner actually tried to defend their negligence by saying they knew about the Great Dane so they just sprayed in the driveway instead of inside the house and around the backyard (but were still charging the full amount for their services, mind you). I was in disbelief of his defense. "Hey, we sprayed the driveway but left you no proof that we did. And by the way, we charged you the same price as well." They also left no receipt or note they were ever there, but charged us multiple sprays to the company. I'm sure they get away with this kind of stuff often because of the empty houses all over the island. My wife and I just so happen to stay often at our beach home. I just wanted to save anyone else on the island the trouble. This company (Clegg's Pest Control and the owner Jason Floyd) were both negligent and dishonest. So far on the island Brunswick Pest Control has come out every time they said they would, and when we still saw palmetto bugs after one of their sprays, they came back out and sprayed again for free. I'm sure there's other good companies on the island as well, but this is not one of them. Trust me.”
