Snap-E Mouse Traps and Products

This trap is designed using polystyrene and stainless steel. The material used on the base does not hold odors and mess as traditional wooden traps do. This makes this trap easy to clean and reusable for a long time. The stainless-steel trigger and spring are resistant to rust and mess as well. They last a long time and do not bend or kink easily.

The snap bar on these traps has a small yellow pad on them. This pad is small enough not to lower the effectiveness of the trap but it is large enough to prevent the bar from puncturing or cutting the mouse. This snap bar makes clean up more comfortable and gives the mouse a chance of living long enough for you to release it outside.

These traps feature a large bait paddle that allows you to put a lot of peanut butter or your favorite bait on it. This bait paddle feature is important because you do not want the rodent to escape with all your bait. If you can only put a small amount on the trap that increases the likelihood that they will escape with all of it and not come back.

Since these traps get made of a plastic-like material, they are reusable for years. When a rodent gets trapped by the trigger if they start to bleed or get messy, you can rinse the trap off, and none of the excretions will sink into the material. This cleanliness feature is much more efficient than a traditional wooden trap.

The trigger on these traps is incredibly effective and strong. If you set everything up right, the trigger will snap at even the slightest touch. This issue can sometimes become a problem with false snaps, but it’s a tradeoff you get with such a big trap.

When we used this product, we had a minimal issue catching and holding on to the mice. This trap works well when facing a wall in an area where there is not going to be a lot of vibrations or banging. When the mice triggered the trap, it always snapped immediately before the rodent could even get any of our bait.

The only negative experience we had with this trap was setting it up properly. You need to ensure you pull the spring back all the way or the trigger will not snap. Don’t be afraid to pull it back as far as it will go before setting it up because that is what you need to do for it to work properly.

Other than that, this is an excellent trap that works well and performs its job as described. It is also very affordable for a six pack of traps, and they are reusable, so you should be able to eliminate your entire mouse infestation using these six traps.
