Features & Specs

If you discover fleas in your house but aren’t sure where they are coming from, it is likely time to get a fogger. The Raid Flea Killer Plus Fogger treats whole rooms and large spaces for fleas. It seeps inside the wall cracks, under counters, and into the hard-to-reach spots, killing fleas on contact. At the same time, lays a protective layer over everything in a room, deterring fleas for up to four months.

Raid Flea Fogger is made using a water-based formula that kills fleas quickly, within a 3,840 cubic foot area. This equals out to cover 250 square feet in a room with eight-foot ceilings. Unlike many flea foggers on the market, Raid Flea Fogger does not contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).

CFCs are known to contribute to ozone depletion in the earth’s upper atmosphere. Because of this, the use of CFCs has been gradually replaced with hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). Raid Flea Fogger implements HFCs, instead of CFCs. HFCs also contribute to carbon emission-based climate change; however, HFCs are organic compounds and are, therefore, less harmful.

The fogger offers maximum strength for dealing with flea infestations. Based on user comments and individual reviews online, Raid Flea Fogger is consistently reliable in its marketed usage. Even though Raid doesn’t use CFCs in the products active ingredients, we recommend extreme caution.

Any kind of contact with the products active ingredient—before it dries—is extremely hazardous to your health. The product includes comprehensive instructions and precautionary warnings, which serve to safeguard the health of users and those in the immediate vicinity.

Features & Specs

Raid Flea Killer Plus Carpet Room Spray is the perfect solution for localized flea infestations. An aerosol spray is emitted from a canister, which coats selected areas of infestation. The products solution kills fleas on contact and protects covered areas for up to four months. It is safe to use on bedding, curtains, furniture, and carpeting with adherence to the products user instructions and precautions.

Raid Flea Killer Plus Carpet Room Spray is designed for spot applications on furniture, animal bedding, and upholstery. The Raid Flea Sprayer is not quite as strong or effective as the fogger. However, the sprayer does not contaminate the entire space during treatment. If treating the carpet, users must use a facemask and vacate the area, including all children, adults, and pets.

The solution takes up to two full hours to dry. Once dried, humans and animals are able to occupy the treated space once again. The treatment lasts for up to four months. Like the fogger, Raid Flea Spray does not include any CFCs. Raid Flea Killer Plus Carpet Room Spray provides a solution to flea infestations that are limited to individual areas.

Difference Between Raid Flea Killer Fogger & Raid Flea Killer Spray

This article reviews two different Raid products: Flea Killer Fogger and Flea Killer Spray. Foggers and sprays are very different products. Depending on the size and scale of your flea infestation, they can be used individually, or in tandem.

Flea Fogger

Foggers are used to bug-bomb whole spaces. It can be used for a house, room, boat, car, etc. However, foggers can never be used in the presence of people, pets, or plants. The fog released is filled with harmful toxins—which is why it kills all the pests present in an area. They are a heavy weapon, but effective for large flea infestations

Flea Spray

Sprays are used for spot treatments against fleas, on carpets, bedding, furniture, and upholstery. Sprays offer precision against individual areas of infestation. Once dry, the active chemicals are safe for pets, children and adults to be around, but continue to kills fleas on contact for several months. However, flea sprays cannot be used to treat large areas in the same way as flea foggers.

Conclusion
The Raid Flea Fogger and Raid Flea Spray are best used in tandem. The spray offers localized coverage, whereas the fogger gets into all the nooks and crannies that are inaccessible by hand. Overall, we give Raid Flea Products our recommendation, if your flea infestation has become out of control.

Though both products use heavy toxins, they are effective for ridding an area of fleas and other pests. Thanks for reading our Raid Flea Fogger and Spray 2018 review.
