“Terrible service. We recently moved into a duplex, that once we moved in, we found out had bed bugs and roaches. Winchester pest control was hired to take care of the issue. First off, the exterminator that came did stated that one side of the duplex was not prepared for him to spray, but he did anyway. So the first time he sprayed was useless. He did not set up a follow appointment and waited for a complaint to come back. He stated that he would not spray again unless both sides were prepared the second time, but once again- the same unit was unprepared. We were supposed to be able to return home after 8 hours. We returned at 12 hours after he sprayed, to find PUDDLES of pesticide on the floor and finding our furniture absolutely soaked. We left, not wanting to be that exposed to the chemicals and returned at around 36 hours after he sprayed. STILL there were puddles, and our furniture was still wet. After 36 HOURS the vast amount of chemicals he sprayed were not dry. Even with all of the pesticide puddled through our house the second time, it has been over the 7-10 days he gave for the bed bugs to "die out", and they are still present. Winchester pest control does not even use the correct chemicals to kill off all the bed bugs. The pesticide spray is only effective if sprayed directly on the bugs, most commercial exterminators will also use what is called DELTA dust in the cracks and crevices of a home, to ensure that the bugs all die out. Winchester pest control does not use DELTA dust, and is very ineffective and unprofessional. We are very displeased at the cost to have our furniture RUINED and still have bed bugs. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Orkin has comparable pricing, and is actually educated and licensed.”
