What Customers Are Saying

“I use Perschel and Meyer Pest Management for everything! They take care of my lawn by fertilizing and killing weeds. They use granular fertilizers that make my lawn thick and green unlike most companies. The only time I really had any substantial weeds is when I first started and ever since then I have been virtually weed free. They also take care of my Pest Control and my Termite Bond as well. Very competitive prices. Nothing like having everything done under one roof by a locally owned company from the Beach.”

“When I call with a question about my lawn, if they are not able to address my question on the phone they promptly want to come to my residence to look at it and advise. They are honest in recommending what services you need and don't need and when. One time my wife requested a particular type treatment which has large price, and they explained why it was not necessary and that if we'd wait an additional month, due to the climate and season, the reqular treatment and fertilization would take care of the issue. NOW that is honesty, excellent ethics, respect and honorable customer service. They could have gained opportunistic revenue by merely giving us what we asked for not being the wiser or knowledgeable. We also have our termite treatment and inspection plan with them, and last time we checked they were $50 less than others providers. We are pleased with their results on our lawn. Perschel & Meyer has been servicing our residence for quite awhile now.”

“This company has no integrity. The manager Justin came and gave a quote to our daughter's home all smiles and promises. They do not provide anything written so they can deny their promises later. One of the positive reviewers for this company is in the lawn care industry. So be aware. Manager Justin promised to care for the whole yard even promising to fertilize knock out roses and include 5 young trees in the back with Aphids (under 20 ft.) in the lawn and plant and shrub program we agreed to. It was supposedly premium service for our small lawn. Caring for trees is standard in most lawn/shrub programs however they claim it is not in theirs. Manager Jusin said he would include it in our service, small trees and small lawn. However, when they actually serviced they left things out. When my daughter called (I heard the whole conversation) questioning why things were not serviced, the receptionist said that our account did not have notation from Justin that the trees were to be treated regularly nor the flowering shrubs (such as knock out roses). We would have to speak with him. When speaking to the manager Justin he was very arrogant and annoyed that we were questioning the services and why the promised services were not notated in our account. He said they would do it as they deemed it needed and lied and said it was notated in our account not realizing the receptionst already told us it was not. My daughter asked how the techs would know to treat the trees and roses if they were not notated on my account. He told me he wished he had not promised to do the roses etc. He sarcastically then said he would tell the techs and bold note it for everyone and write it every month. He made it clear that he was angry that we had the questions. As a paying customer, we have a right to ask questions. He should be polite and not defensive. Being defensive shows you are not being open and honest. Justin said on the phone when questioned as to why roses were not notated/treated that my roses (which are next to a driveway) would get fertilized from the techs throwing fertilizer on the grass. WOW Not really since our roses are adjacent to concrete. So basically, the did not intend to fertilize those. What bad quality/no integrity. By the way- do they consider that good shrub/flower fertilizer quality? He also said it was difficult to speak to someone uninformed with the industry. Our issue had to do with account notation in order for techs to know what was included and service it as promised by Justin as they do not read Justin's mind. It had nothing to do with the knowledge of the industry. Though we know more than he thinks. This is why we know how inportant notation is. This company tells you what you want to hear to get your business, then changes its tune later. My daughter spoke to Justin's manager- Paul as we cancelled service. She explained the issue. He did not try to retain our business. He just said he would speak to Justin. He could have retained us if he convinced us this was not their business practice to treat clients this way and given us a diferent contact manager. However, he did not, he just said "I will address it with Justin. Sorry." By the way, the first month they charge a higher fee (almost double) (without telling you until the bill comes). They claim they are using more products the first month. However, they should be using these things monthly. I have never had a company do this. Overall shady. My daughter and I are appalled.”
