I highly recommend using Orkin for pest control. From scheduling with Trip in the office setting up 2 accounts for 2 homes having issues with Carpenter Bees to Kate in the payment department. Trip scheduled same day service sending Josiah Ahern out to spray both homes and are all set up on an annual contract. Everyone I dealt with couldn't have been nicer and more professional. Thumbs up 👍 for Orkin.

So far, I am disappointed and unimpressed. Called on a Sunday afternoon (10/13/24). They gave me a spot the very next day between 8am and 10am. I thought “Wow, great!” By 9:15am when they did not show up, I waited on hold for over 20 minutes just to make sure. The woman verified the appointment and address and apologized and said that the technician was running late and would be there at 10:30am. Ok, fine. At least clearly, they knew they had to be at my home. By 11:15 am I called again (1 hr and 15 minutes past their window of time) and waited again for well over 20 minutes on hold. This time she put me again on hold and came back saying that due to a software glich the technician did not know he had to be at my home and he’d already left the area for the day. I was very annoyed that on a day off from school with my impatient kids that I had wasted well over 3.5 -4 hrs waiting for them when I could have spent a fun morning with my children. Being too nice of a person, I again gave her the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. After accepting an inconvenient appointment for me, juggling a significant portion of my schedule around with my kids and obtaining a sitter this time, she scheduled me for the next day (10/14/24) in the afternoon at 2:30pm. By 8am today (10/14/24) the same woman cancelled again stating two technicians had called out. Again, I had to rearrange my child care plans. This time they scheduled for a whole week out from today. At least they called this time. But still annoying. Meanwhile, our problem is far from solved. Can’t even comment on their actual pest control service because I can’t get past the receptionist or get them to come to my home in a timely way. Meanwhile they have my credit card number which they demanded immediately upon my first call, and emailed multiple times to get me to sign a contract when they haven’t even seen my home or performed any inspection! Orkin seems unprofessional and not worth dealing with to me. For such a big name, I’m highly disappointed. Looking into other companies at this point.
