Orkin was last good in my area 6-8 years ago. We had one guy John. Ever since he stopped servicing our home, it’s been an absolute joke. People come uninterested to do their job, 90% of people just spray around the outside and do absolutely nothing inside. In the last year we keep having people show up on days we are unaware they are coming (so they spray outside, have no access to inside) our issue was mice inside especially garage. Which was entered 2 times in the last number of years. John used to notify us 30 min prior to being at the house. Last year two it is IMPOSSIBLE TO RESCHEDULE. You leave voicemails, emails, they still show up.. spraying outside in few minutes and not addressing our issue. The last $800 or so on our account is absolute fraud. I quit my services, I finally got a hold of the “manager” advised them of our issues, literal non service.. quick spray outside, with noone rescheduling just showing up and then we end up with a fat bill. Well since hat is unpaid now, they contact me MORE than ever when I had their services 7 years! And now have me in collections. I refuse to pay. I won’t pay. I can send Orkin South Burlington VT office to court with all my proof of contact to RESCHEDULE when they keep showing up spraying outside sending fat bills, not addressing actual issue.

I set up service for today at 2-4. Got a text they were on the way at 8am. I called to complain and was told I am sorry and got immediate attitude from a few people. Then was told by a gentleman that I did not fit their company and hung up on. Maybe try to set up an immediate appointment after changing a clients appointment without their knowledge. Very unprofessional. I will never recommend you to any of my clients. As a business when you make a mistake it is your job to make it right.

The tech (Catharine) was great and overall experience pretty good but I wish we had been given heads up to cover things like top of furnace and water heater because the drip from treatment left sticky residue on everything. We will be sure to cover those areas prior to another treatment.

I called Orkin yesterday and explained my concern about a rodent in my wall. They were able to get someone out today (the next day). The person on the phone was efficient, helpful, and friendly. Today the tech, Paul, was on-time, very friendly, and explained what he was doing. I also thought the pricing was reasonable, especially considering they came out immediately and guarantee their services.

I have had a few satisfactory routine and normal services performed before but the two most recent service visits were unsatisfactory. The most recent service call was not scheduled and I only received a text about 40 minutes before Orkin came by that I had not seen yet. Not properly informed in advance and I was not home! What proof of any service performed!? Needed both exterior and interior services. This was not acceptable. To correct this, Orkin said they would come by next week. One previous so called service visit the Orkin Pro dropped off poor quality mouse trap pads. When I pointed to mice on mouse pads to be take away he said he was not here today to pick them up and dispose of them, only to drop off more trap pads! Some prior services satisfactory but I feel not consistent services performed.

Paul was outstanding- knowledgeable, informative, and thorough! Communication with the office before his visit was terrible . They missed the first scheduled visit and did not notify us or return phone calls.

Josiah was knowledgeable and treated my yellow jacket problem, explained follow up process well. Arrived well outside the time window I was given. That was not a problem for me, might be for others. I did get a text when he was on the way, but it would have been better to get that a bit earlier.

Paul was epic to work with! He was both professional and also a good human! His knowledge about pets (birds and otherwise) was amazing! He has got your back! Price was what it was, but I paid for a year in advance and you can get a slight discount by doing so!

I am terrified of mice, absolutely terrified. So two nights ago I had a mouse which I actually trapped in the dogs food put a cookie sheet over the bowl and tossed it outside. The next night another mouse showed up I couldn’t catch that one … my dogs I think scared it back outside., But I knew I needed help. I called Orkin not only was my technician incredibly kind, nice empathetic, but it just say it was above and beyond the call of duty! He was fantastic!!!! After fully putting traps, mesh and bait traps outside. After doing everything he needed to do bait traps outside so forth was in his truck about to leave, but still filling out paperwork and lo and behold. Oh yes, that darn mouse was back in the house. I saw it. My dogs went nuts. I ran outside to say it came back and Josiah came back I. The house. Admits me tears and fears… We saw it. Thanks to Josiah, the mouse mouse got stuck in one of the new glue traps that he had just put down! It was the same mouse for sure as we saw Outside (seriously)! Catching the repeat offender while he was here on the job. He is my HERO. That’s above 100% satisfaction! thank you Orkin and more importantly thank you Josiah. This should be a tv commercial!!!❤️I really really appreciate everything you did for me. Thank you.

Since I started using Orkin about 16 months ago there HAVE been times when I was totally unhappy with the technician who serviced my home and was considering canceling my service. Thank goodness for Cody Atkins! I want someone who CARES and is THOROUGH ... Cody fits the bill!
