“My tv was damaged by one of their members of staff. In order to carry out the work my tv had to be removed from the wall and in the process of the service my screen was damaged. I have a crack & lines going across the top of my tv screen. I was unable to watch the person perform the work as the chemicals were too strong for my baby & was advised to stay outside until he had finished and stay away from the home for an additional hour. When I returned home I found a very large crack on the tv. When calling the manager the next day, he was extremely rude & refused to hear what I had to say. He informed me that the employee was his son in law & had a degree and a very good person. I was extremely shocked by the level of professionalism and furthermore, I did not try to discredit the employee but only point out that my tv was damaged whilst he was in my home. I understand that it was a tricky situation and was very fair however, the customer service was below standard and he did not care about what I had to say or my belongings. I’m now left with a damaged tv and no accountability from New Era. I advise anyone to watch & protect your personal belongings because the management here do not care & would go as far as; to call you a liar! Firstly, I’m not a cheat or thief that I would not try to cheat you out of a tv! I’m not here to discredit the business however, when you’ve worked in customer service and know good from bad I have to express my feelings and experience because I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I’m going through now. So sorry New Era but I’m not a liar or cheat. My tv was damaged by your son in law! He either knocked it with the ladder or his tool box whilst I was outside and unable to watch or protect my personal belongings. Use a company who put customers first! Not call them liars & scream st them.”
