I called a couple of pest control companies to come to our home to inspect the basement and provide us with an estimate to resolve the problem. We hired Steve Burke of Mantis Pest Control to rid us of the mice. There were several reasons why we selected Steve. Steve's inspection and explanation of our mice problem was very thorough. He took time to answer all my many questions. We were very inquisitive, never having this problem in the past. Steve was patient and understanding. We felt very confident with him delivering on his word to rid the basement of the mice. Steve is very personable. We felt comfortable dealing with him. And, his knowledge , expertise and honesty increased our comfort level in hiring him for the job. The quote to perform the work was reasonable. It was to be a long process, several weeks. We thought the price was fair given the problem as it was described. After making the decision to bring Steve on, he was punctual for each planned visit to perform the work and the follow up visits to check on the status of his work. And if he was to be late for a visit he was sure to contact us in advance to notify us. The mice are gone. The entry/exit holes plugged. Steve completed the work on schedule and at the price he quoted. It was a pleasure having Steve perform the work and get our basement back to normal. “Steve is a life saver and I would never use another pest control company! He is a true professional that was so patient with all my calls. This was a high stress situation with a flea explosion that we initially tried to handle ourselves. Steve collaborated with me to solve the problem we had which was not cut and dry. He gave us an honest evaluation that while we initially had fleas the end result was having harmless gnats in our basement.
