“pany is a complete joke. Super long review, but it’s needed to get the point across.. I found Elite while we were under contract to purchase our new home & I scheduled for them to do a pre-purchase pest inspection of the house. Fast forward a few weeks and we move into our new home and noticed straight away from day one that there was a severe ant problem (which I was frustrated that it was never brought to our attention when they did the initial inspection, but they said those inspections only cover the major wood eating bugs). After about three weeks of dealing with it on our own with no luck, we decide to call Elite back and have them spray for ants. They originally booked my appointment for a Monday, but told me they would call and let me know if anything was canceled/they had something open up sooner because our infestation was BAD. I get called on the Thursday before my appointment and was told there was an appointment available the next day, so we rescheduled for that slot instead. I made sure to take off of work and be home for the two hour time slot that they provided me with, and five minutes after the start of the time slot they called me and let me know that they needed to reschedule for Monday. I was extremely frustrated that I had already taken off of work but okay, we rescheduled for Monday. Monday rolls around and the entire two hour timeframe had passed and about 35 minutes after the end of the time slot they finally called me to let me know the technician is on their way, but they’re running late. The technician ended up arriving an hour after the end of the time slot that was scheduled. As frustrated as I was, the technician was very friendly and knowledgeable, & got straight to the work. He let me know right from the start that the infestation was extremely bad and could pretty much guarantee that only spraying once wouldn’t resolve the issue, so we went ahead and set up the quarterly services since that included a guarantee if they didn’t go away, they’d come back free of charge. A few weeks had gone by and the ants had returned, so I called schedule for someone to come out again. I left a voicemail (which by the way, you have to leave a voicemail EVERY SINGLE TIME you call, & they’ll eventually call you back).. three business days later I still had never gotten a call back, so I call and leave yet another voicemail and follow up with an email. Finally I am called back, & they schedule an appointment for them to come out on a Wednesday to re-spray. On Tuesday night at 11:45pm I am emailed and told that they need to reschedule because their extremely short staffed due to COVID, and their only technician is in the hospital with his wife who just had a baby. Fine. At least this time they rescheduled before the day of & I was still able to go to work. So they rescheduled me for a week later, leaving us to deal with a horrible infestation on our own, again. It’s now the day before that rescheduled appointment, and I haven’t heard back about whether or not they’ll actually be coming out & I’ve been waiting on a reply for 5 days.. At this point I have now unnecessarily missed time from work for rescheduled appointments, had to miss more time from work than originally anticipated due to them showing up an hour late, and wasted a ton of time playing phone & email tag back and forth with them, when in the end I’m obviously going to have to find another company to handle this issue & any future issues anyways. Seems like this company is a small 2-3 person operation who over books themselves and can’t handle the work load they take on. Proceed with caution.”
