“We bought our home a little more than a year ago. According to Skyline, it had "dated" termite damage and "no evidence of current Termite activity." We received a termite letter stating our home was clear. We paid the price for preventative bait stations in the first year and, just renewed about 3 months ago. The first year I found termites at the base of a tree 15 feet from our home but, they disappeared and I didn't think about it again. Come this spring, after the second inspection and renewal of the Sentricon bait; I went to refresh the old garden bed in front of the house. Straightening out the landscaping timbers; I find they are all brimming with subterranean termites and fall apart. There is a large retention bed wall and built with the same timber around a large tree . I would need new supplies to take it apart, check for termites and rebuild the bed. The tree's roots show termite damage and, reach toward the colonized timber. We may even need to have the tree removed! The inspector/exterminator didn't bother to check the timber two feet in front of our home or the nearest tree! I checked up the roots toward the tree to find termite damage leading to the timber. We contacted Skyline more than a month ago and, never received a call back nor any sort of follow up. We found the service ticket had been closed with no notes. The Sentricon bait spikes have not been effective on our property. Why would they be? We have densely packed Georgia clay. Skyline should know better. I probably should have too but, I'm not the professional. Basically, Skyline representatives have failed to adequately inspect our property, provide an effective termite solution or, customer service outside of scheduling time to take our money. Skyline has failed at the one thing we pay them to do and; they continue to ignore our issue. Skyline may be getting a bill for all the damage associated with their poor service.”
