“Mike Cogan's title on his business card is "Problem Solver." My experience with Be There Pest Control proved that title is accurate. We had a nasty problem with a hidden nest of ornery Yellow Jackets that had stung both my wife and I multiple times. Our amateur attempt at eliminating the problem only made matters worse. I Googled exterminators in St. Paul and came up with four potentially viable options. I first called three who were located closest to my home and waited nearly three hours for a return call. None came. I then called BTPC. Mike returned my call in less than two minutes. Luckily, he happened to be between calls and not far from my location. He assured me he could take care of our bee problem and arrived in about ten minutes. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. When I answered the door, he presented me with his business card, presented himself in a clean, pressed white uniform with the company logo and his name stitched across the front, and I could see his color-coordinated company vehicle parked on the street in front of the house. It was a very reassuring first impression. Mike was very thorough in his inspection of the house. He found three additional wasps nests, which he took care of, and then donned his protective gear before taking on the main attraction. When he was done, I was pleased to find out he even accepted Mastercard and Visa as payment. It's nice to know you can earn rewards points for getting your pest problems solved. Before leaving, Mike gave me his assurance that if we noticed any continued activity after about 5 days, he would gladly return and re-treat. I did end up calling him to come back as we saw 1-2 drunken bees around the access point to the nest. Mike was good to his word. He returned the next morning and, even though he assured me the treatment was doing its job and was just taking a little longer due to a larger number of bees in the nest, he retreated the area without additional charge. He may have felt a bit annoyed with me for having to come out when the first application was doing its job, but he still honored his guarantee and did so with a smile. That's what I call service! I highly recommend Mike Cogan and Be There Pest Control to any Twin Citian who is in need of a reliable, professional and honorable exterminator.”
